The heater
What size heater does the room need?
A heater is sized to the volume it heats and the conditions it holds: change the room and you change the heater.
The short answerCommercial-grade Harvia, built to run all day, sized to your room and your timetable, and named by make and model on your quote before any deposit.
What moves the number
Three things move the number: the volume of the cabin, the heat loss through glass and doors and how often they open, and how fast the room recovers after a group has been through. A home cabin is sized against an easy version of all three.
Tell the people on the commercial call the room and the busiest slot, and ask what it needs and why. A model number offered without a reason is not an answer, from us or from anyone.
The heater is named: Harvia
We specify commercial-grade Harvia heaters, the biggest sauna heater manufacturer in the world, publicly listed, built to run all day, sized to your room and timetable, with the manufacturer's datasheet available. Ask us for the datasheet; anyone who has one sends it the same day.
Worth knowing
Every traditional sauna can be optioned with the Wi-Fi controller, a premium applies, or comes with built-in controls, depending on the heater, with the option price confirmed on the call. Harvia is behind the app: it schedules heat-up, learns your cabin's heat-up time, and tells your phone when the sauna is ready.
Heat-up is 20 minutes to an hour on average, depending on the temperature you want. For running cost, ask for the figure for your model at a stated tariff, in writing.
