What to have ready, from James, before we call.

Before your call

Watch these four short videos before your call

What to have ready

  1. 01

    A photo of the space

Even mid-build. The spot as it is today.

  2. 02

    Rough measurements

Width, depth and height, or off the plans.

  3. 03

    Where the power is

Your consumer unit (fuse box), whether the home is single or three phase, and how far the cable run would be.

  4. 04

    What is under it

Decking and its joists, a concrete base, paving slabs, or lawn today, so a level base goes in first.

  5. 05

    Who else is deciding

And whether they can join the call.

  6. 06

    The colour you want

Every sauna is made to order in the colour you choose.

  7. 07

    The heater you want

If you have a preference. If not, that is what the call is for.

  8. 08

    The timing you want

Ready now, mid-build, or further out.

  9. 09

    Any quote you already hold

From another supplier. Bring it and we go through it line by line.

The call itself

  1. 01

    Somewhere quiet

Where you can talk and hear the whole call.

  2. 02

    Phone charged

And with you at the time you chose.

  3. 03

    Not driving

Pull over, or pick another time.

  4. 04

    The list to hand

The photo on your phone and the measurements.

  5. 05

    Whoever decides with you

Next to you, or the phone on speaker.

After the call

In writing, before you pay

  • Your written quote: the model that fits and the delivery charge for your postcode.
  • Your spec sheet and the technical drawings for your model come with your written quote.
  • Your terms and your warranty, per model.
  • Your electrician must be registered with NICEIC or NAPIT. We may recommend one, or use your own.

Once you order

Once you order: a level base goes in, the sauna is delivered kerbside, it is assembled, a registered electrician connects it, then you register it and heat.

  1. 01 A level, load-bearing base
  2. 02 Delivered kerbside
  3. 03 Assembled by you, your installer, or us if quoted
  4. 04 A registered electrician connects and certifies it
  5. 05 Register within 30 days, then heat and enjoy

What people ask once they have booked

Who calls us, and when?
One of our team calls you at the time you chose and introduces themselves by name. The time and an add-to-calendar link are in your confirmation email.
What if we miss the call, or need to move it?
Use the link in your confirmation email to pick another time.
Will you ask us for money on the call?
No. You get your written quote, your spec sheet and technical drawings, and your terms and warranty in writing before you pay anything.
What will the quote include?
The model that fits and the delivery charge for your postcode. Your spec sheet and the technical drawings for your model come with it, along with your terms and your warranty, per model.
Do we need an electrician, and what will that cost?
Yes. Connecting a sauna is notifiable work under Part P, by an electrician registered with NICEIC or NAPIT, working to BS 7671. It is not included in a PlusLife quote, and the cost varies by property. We may recommend an electrician, or use your own.
Which heater comes with it, and is the app included or extra?
If you have a preference, tell us on the call. If not, that is what the call is for — we confirm the heater and what is included with your model.
